Spanish illustrator based in Cambridge.

I studied Fine Arts in Salamanca, graduating first of my year in 2015. Pursuing my creative interests, I moved to Cambridge to study a MA in Children’s Book Illustration, winning the 2017 V&A Student Illustrator of the Year Award with my final project. After obtaining a teaching qualification, I received a Fundación “la Caixa” Fellowship in 2019 to study a PhD in Children’s Book Illustration with a focus on non-fiction books, on which I am working to date.

I have worked with V&A Publishing, Bloomsbury, and magazines including Scoop!, ¡La Leche! and Pan. I enjoy using traditional printing techniques, especially screenprint, which has impacted my way of working and constitutes my preferred technique whenever I can use it for a project.
